"My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me”.   (John 17:20-23).

The challenges of Urban Ministry in Indianapolis are every bit as great as the opportunities. All too often we have tried to expand the Kingdom independently from other parts of the Body of Christ and have failed to utilize the collective gifts of our like minded brothers and sisters in striving to move Indianapolis from the “City of Man” to the “City of God”.

The goal of CityChurch Indianapolis partnership is to see one body with many parts changing the hearts of the people of Indianapolis. (1 Cor. 12:29)

We come to this partnership with no grand plans and no grand events, but instead with humility and a burning conviction that if the Body of Christ works together and loves one another, God will accomplish great things.

Membership in this partnership is easy. If you adhere to the CityChurch values and beliefs  and have a desire to come together, to love and serve each other, to learn from one another's wisdom, and, most of all, serve Jesus, that is all it takes.
